How to Wear Too Many Bright Colors

It is that time of the year- called the transition period when winter is just over, cold, freezing winds have just stopped blowing and now, although the sun is shining bright, there is a mild wind swirl now and then, sending shivers down the spine. It is also time you make the transformation from dull winter colors like blacks and greys to bright and poppy colors.

It is understood that there are women who, even in summers, would not want to dress up in colors head to toe. So, it is time you get out of your comfort zone and break the typical stereotype.

Below are a few outfit ideas that are full of colors from top to bottom; these crazy style ideas will definitely make you stand out in the crowd for all the right reasons.

Outfit 1- On a casual day out, you can wear a tropical set, maybe in green, yellow or anything bright and peppy, perfect for spring. It can be an off-shoulder blouse and skirt, top and pants or even a flowing skirt will do. Pair it with contrasting heels. If you are wearing a green set, go for yellow flat gladiator sandals and red tassel earrings. This is one way to color block. Finish off the look with bright red lips and a pair of latest design second piercing earrings.

Outfit 2- This one is a little bit on the formal side. So, you can sport this look to your office or important events to make a mark. Opt for a red coat (with a brownish or orangey tint), mustard pants and a white shirt for color blocking. This is a formal yet fun look. Carry the correct posture and attitude; you will rock this outfit. Last but not least, add on a black sling black for glam-quotient.

Outfit 3- Red is the color of this season. Next time you go for a brunch or an elaborate lunch, wear red spaghetti with a pair of rusty bell bottoms and a bright long floral shrug. Do not panic if your shrug has blue, green, or red prints on them. The more the color the better it is, cause the amalgamation of all these colors together will make for a very soothing color palette, perfect for spring-summer.

Outfit 4- The coordinated look is in vogue these days, with celebrities and fashion influential and stylists everyone flaunting this look. Wear a nude coordinated set (a tank top and wide-leg pants), and top this look with the same floral shrug (of the previous outfit), adding colors very slightly yet not taking the attention away from the set. Accessorize with a layered neckpiece, a statement ring and a jute bag. For your hair, a neat low-pony will compliment the look best.

Outfit 5- This is a sexy, elegant and graceful look for a high-tea or even a dinner at a fancy resto. Go for a mustard/purple (or any color of your choice) satin dress with a multi-colored striped shirt. The key here is to choose the right colors that flatter each other well. Heels are a must for this look, along with a luxe bag and a chic watch for class and style.
